Very nice, curious to see if something like this could be largely AI-driven optimizations (for other kinds of code).

Seems to me like the answer is yes, given that there's extensive documentation and code samples related to AVX instructions.

Edit: Downvotes why? Don't worry, expected from this site, but at least learn to construct an argument. This was written in 2022, there's a world of difference in model capabilities to today.

If you're curious why you would want a vectorized way to sort lists of numbers, one use case is building histograms - it's much easier to build a histogram if you've sorted all your samples first
