I don’t know, that goes a little above and beyond IMO. One typically doesn’t do science in a house-type setting, for many of the same reasons you don’t carpet a bathroom.

"Origins of life" is a bit of an overstatement, leading to a pernicious paywall.
TLDR version: organelles called chloroplasts apparently evolved twice. Scientists investigating this reduced to working in cheap rented room.
